InquiryCatch / Questions
How much does a website chat assistant cost for a small business?
Expect anything from about $20 a month for a do-it-yourself chatbot to $400 or more a month for full messaging platforms. InquiryCatch is €49 a month (founding price for our first 20 customers, then €69) for any business, anywhere, after two weeks free, with setup included, no long-term contract and cancel any time.
The three price levels
Do-it-yourself chatbots (roughly $20–50 a month). You sign up, connect your website and set it up yourself. Some marketing agencies include a basic chatbot for around $19 a month as part of their package. Cheap, but someone has to spend the time making it ask the right questions.
Done-for-you assistants (roughly €50–150 a month). Someone sets it up for your business: your services, your area, what to ask before passing an enquiry on. This is where InquiryCatch sits.
Full messaging platforms ($400+ a month). Tools like Podium bundle web chat with texting, reviews and payments. Podium doesn’t publish its prices; third-party trackers report around $399–599 a month, reportedly on annual agreements. Worth it for larger companies that use everything; expensive if you only need your website to answer people.
What InquiryCatch costs
€49 a month for our first 20 customers, locked in for as long as they stay; after that the regular price is €69 a month. It is the same for every business in every country. The first two weeks are free. Setup is included, it is month to month with no long-term contract, and you can cancel any time. If the assistant hasn’t brought you a single enquiry in your first paid month, you don’t pay for that month.
How to tell if it is worth it
Work out what one new customer is worth to you. For most small businesses, one extra customer a month pays for the assistant several times over. During the free two weeks you can see exactly how many enquiries came in through it, and when.
